Neighborhood Policies Updated

The Board of Directors has recently updated this document which lists very important neighborhood policies.

New Management Company

Please welcome Marcus Management as the new Arbor Hills management company.  The board is very confident that they will do an excellent job managing our community.  We ask that your first contact with any questions, concerns or issues be the management company rather than the board.  This is to ensure that all matters are documented and handled in a timely manner.  Marcus Management can be contacted via email or phone beginning October 1, 2012.

Marcus Management, Inc.; 28545 Orchard Lake Road, Suite A; Farmington Hills, Michigan 48334

September Board Meeting

The Arbor Hills 2013 preliminary budget will be presented at the September board meeting held in the Clague Middle School Library on September 19th from 7-8pm.  The preliminary budget will be reviewed with questions and inputs from neighbors.  This is an opportunity for unit owners to ask any questions or provide input to the board before the final budget is voted upon at the Annual Meeting on Thursday, October 25.  If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like a copy of the preliminary budget, please email the board.

Ice Cream & Music in August

The next Ice Cream Social has been scheduled for Thursday, August 16th from 7 - 8 pm in Kilburn Park.  Join your neighbors and friends for music and a chance to make your own sundae.  Ice cream will be scooped by Board Members and music will be provided by the Pioneer Ensemble - the fantastic string quartet from the June social.

Music & Ice Cream

On Thursday, July 12th, Arbor Hills will be hosting Music and Ice Cream in the Park.  Katherine Weintraub, a classical saxophone player, will play music in Kilburn Park from 7pm to 8pm while Board Members scoop ice cream for the ‘make your own sundae’ portion of this event. Please come over to say hello to your neighbors and enjoy the free music and ice cream.

Annual Garage Sale

Arbor Hills will have its annual Garage Sale on Friday and Saturday, June 15th and 16th from 9am to 4pm.  You can participate on either one or both days.  Please be aware that this will increase traffic on our roads so use extra caution.  Please contact the Board or Mary Sheaffer-Manthey, Social Chairperson, with any questions (

Streetlight Survey

The LED Lighting Survey was completed on April 30th.  The survey was open for 15 days and available to AHCA residents to respond either via online survey or via paper.  One-third of Arbor Hills participated in this survey submitting 70 responses with 60% expressing interest in further research and discussion on replacing the Arbor Hills streetlights with LED lighting and 40% voting against.  The responses indicate that residents have questions around this proposal and continued review is appropriate.
